ReplyDeleteI love The Online Etymology Dictionary. The origin and history of words fascinates me. It's even been part of my theme for A to Z.
ReplyDeleteI had an English teacher in High School, he loved to stop mid sentence and break down words....this word is from the Greek this or this word is from the Latin that...he was a marvelous teacher, very lively very engaging for the students, never boring.
