A is for ...

Alliteration is like a long leg that allows you to slide safely into home plate.

Assonance is the angry reaction of the fans as the ump stabs the air and shouts, “You're out!”

  6. Nice job...alliteration isn't my favorite to teach, but fun to read.

  7. I have longs legs but I just used to run over the catcher and knock the ball out of his hands. I always got called "safe." I was not "safe," however, when an angry Daddy came after me with a bat in the dugout! Thanks for the fun and memories, Muse. You're the best!
